About Product
Chai spice is a blend of warming spices widely used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine.
It is believed to have originated in India more than 5,000 years ago. It was used to promote health and healing; some of its components are still used in modern medicine.
The traditional chai mixture consisted of spices like ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, and pepper.
Chai spice has been used in India for centuries to make a tea known as masala chai, which is still popular today. It is also commonly used in many other dishes, such as curries, soups, and desserts.
In the 1980s, chai tea bags emerged in North America as a commercial product. These tea bags typically contained black tea and blends of traditional chai spices. Herbal tea bags are convenient and easy to prepare, and their popularity has grown over the years.
The popularity of chai spice has spread worldwide, with many variations on the traditional chai blend existing. Despite this, the original blend of spices remains the same and is still used to promote health and well-being.
Today, there are wide varieties of chai tea bags with different flavors and ingredients, such as rooibos and honeybush.
Whether you’re seeking a caffeine-free or caffeinated drink, chai herbal tea bags can be a delicious and healthy addition to your daily routine.
